Welcome to the Bluegrass Group

The Bluegrass Group is the local affiliate of the Sierra Club in Central Kentucky, sponsoring activities to inform Sierra Club members and the general public about local, regional, state, and national environmental issues. We provide many opportunities to meet, greet and talk about issues and environmental activism (see the Get Involved page), as well as get outdoors to experience what Kentucky has to offer.

Bluegrass Group Picnic

Summer Potluck Picnic
The Bluegrass Group annual summer picnic will replace the usual indoor speaker meeting on June 15. The picnic will be at Picnic Shelter #3 at Masterson Station Park in Lexington and will start at 6:30PM. It is an open social evening, pot-luck dinner, BYO drinks & picnic ware. The shelter is located near the playground, on the right after you first enter the park. Looking forward to seeing you there.
