Sierra Club North Star Chapter Endorses Jen McEwen for Senate District 7 in Duluth

The people of Duluth value clean water and a healthy climate. Yet the current state senator representing Duluth consistently sides with polluter interests over public health. Duluth and Minnesota can do better. Jen McEwen is a longtime advocate for climate and clean water in Duluth.  Jen will fight for the equitable solutions to climate change that Duluth and Minnesota deserve.

Jen believes in working alongside her community.  Jen’s background as an activist on environmental issues, and her leadership as an attorney and community member on social justice issues including homelessness makes us confident that she will remain committed and accountable to everyday people and those most marginalized.  We know Jen will side with our communities over large corporate polluters while working toward solutions to our most pressing problems.

Jen McEwen is the clean water and climate champion we need now.
