Our New Fundraiser: Trivia Night and Silent Auction

In 2014, instead of the lemonade stand, we tried something exciting and new: a trivia night and silent auction. The lemonade stand was a great fundraiser for us for many years, but sadly, our revenues from that have been steadily declining. So instead, our new fundraising chair, Stephen Flanery,  ran a trivia game and silent auction on Nov. 4 at the Westport Flea Market.  It was a lot of fun, but we need to build up our new fundraiser going forward.  Keep our fundraising needs in mind for 2015 as we will probably have another trivia/silent auction fundraiser and perhaps add other events.  We can't replace the money we used to get from the lemonade stand without lots of help.  Hope all our previous volunteers enjoyed having a free Labor Day weekend and plan to help us with our new, somewhat less-time-consuming, but all-the-more-needed, fundraisers!
