Nearly every weekend, the Thomas Hart Benton and Kanza Groups jointly offer a variety of day hikes or over-night backpacking trips for beginners, experienced hikers, and families. See below for a complete list of outings.

It is through our Outings that we Explore and Enjoy the planet, and ultimately become inspired to Protect it. Missouri has a gorgeous network of outdoor areas that include:
- The Ozark National Scenic Riverways National Park
- 11 National Monuments, Triails, and Historic sites
- The Mark Twain National Forest
- 8 Federal Wilderness areas
- 9 Federal Wildlife Refuges
- 56 State Parks containing 35 Natural Areas and over 20,000 acres of Wild Areas
- 35 State Historic Sites
- Over 1000 State Conservation Areas
