Our Work

Voter information and registration activities:

The Sierra Club recognizes that an informed and involved citizenry is essential to make strides in addressing our current climate change crisis.  Our Group representing nearly all of Morris and Union Counties and smaller portions of Somerset and Essex is actively working to inform and register voters.  Our area of focus is near Summit at this point.  We have been manning tables at the Summit Farmer's Market Sunday mornings, Veterans Park in New Providence, speaking to senior groups and arranging street fair booths.  Future efforts are planned for Rahway, Madison and other locations as our time and volunteer participation will allow.
