*Rescheduled* Join us Saturday, Oct. 18 for a hike on a lovely stretch of the Mountains-to-Sea Trail. 

The hike will be approximately 5.2 miles round trip, between Chestnut Cove Overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway to Bent Creek Gap. The trail will be accessible from Bent Creek Road if the Parkway is closed.

The hike will be easy to moderate, largely due to tree roots and rocks, not elevation. This hike has tunnels formed by laurels and rhododendrons. Hiking poles are recommended for a small creek crossing. Bring at least one liter of water, snacks and lunch.
