Help restore some of Asheville's lost tree canopy on Friday, April 10 at Richmond Hill Park.

Between 9 and 12 volunteers are needed to help plant about 3,000 bare-root oak seedlings.

You don't need to RSVP to help out; just show up at 9 a.m. ready to work! Please wear sturdy shoes and bring work gloves and a spade, planting bar or small shovel if you have one.

Richmond Hill Park is located at 280 Richmond Hill Drive in Asheville.
