What We Do

Philadelphia Inspiring Connections Outdoors (Philly ICO) has a mission to make the outdoors more accessible for everyone. Our focus is to work with underserved youth of diverse backgrounds who would not normally have access to nature. We achieve this primarily through outdoor programs which are conducted in a safe, respectful and inspiring manner. Participants develop a love for nature and the outdoors through outdoor recreational activities, leadership training, and environmental education all conducted in a positive group experience. Philly ICO is a fully volunteer-run organization.

Become a Partner Agency

ICO conducts outdoor trips in partnership with schools and community groups throughout the Philadelphia Area.
