SAN MARCOS FOOTHILL PRESERVE - EASTSIDE: A moderate 2.2 mrt hike on the eastside of the preserve. This hike will take us to a lookout point about 1 mile from the trailhead involving some moderate uphill sections. Great views of the Santa Barbara and Goleta coastline and area. We will retrace a portion of our route, but then take a different path looping back to the trailhead. HARMON CANYON: This will be a 5 mile loop with an elevation of about 600ft. The trail goes up a parallel trail to the fire road through a shaded chaparral. Bring water, there is a potty in the parking lot. Meet at 9am at the trailhead, 7511 Foothill Rd, Ventura. MAUREEN (Ventura)

CONEJO CANYONS - INTRODUCTION TO GEOCACHING: We will take a 5-6 mile loop hike through Conejo Canyons. There is a 900ft elevation gain, terrain is dirt, the trail is exposed except for shady Hawk Canyon. No facilities available. Expected weather is temp low 70s with clear skies.
