Outings

This outing schedule includes hikes for all four groups.  Each group leads a wide variety of hikes at diverse times.  Levels of experience and fitness required are described.  It is always wise to contact the leader of the hike before arriving at the trailhead, especially if you have questions. Prior to the hike, you will be requested to sign a release form. A version of this outing schedule can also be found in the Condor Call, the Club newspaper.

Prior to the hike, you will be requested to sign a liability release form which will be available at the meeting location. Minors must be accompanied by an adult or have written parental permission giving phone number and authorization for continuing treatment by an MD in case of emergencies. Minors must have a parent sign the Youth Liability Waiver for them. A minor is anyone under the age of 18 years. The outing leader has the discretion not to allow minors.

COVID Precautions

In general, we will be observing any state/county rules effective at the time of the outing. Each participant should observe these rules and take any additional precautions that they deem necessary to protect their health. In addition, the following rules will be observed on Sierra Club outings. Please note that in going on a Sierra Club outing you are potentially on a trip with individuals vaccinated and unvaccinated.  It is your choice to attend the outing knowing this information.

* If you feel sick, please do not attend the outing

* Masks will be required for any indoor activity such as carpooling. Masks are optional outdoors.

Conejo and Santa Barbara groups also lists hikes separately on their web pages.  The Ventura Group lists their hikes and other volunteer actions on their meetup page.  Arguello does not have a separate website or calendar. Links to these web pages are listed below.
