SUMMERLAND WALK II: Join us on this new walk utlizing more of the "secret" paths in Summerland. This one is short, less than 2 miles round trip. We will utilize a new route to get us to a trail we used in a previous Summerland hike, Somewhat hilly but short. Bring water and a snack. Meet at 9am at the Lookout Park parking lot in Summerland. VENTURA HARBOR & SETTLING PONDS: We'll take a walk through the setting ponds and check for wildlife. After that we'll walk to the Channel Islands Visitor Center through Harbor Village to Portside and return to our cars. Distance is 5-6 miles and flat. There are facilities along the way. Temps low 60s with partially cloudy skies. Meet at 9am at the Ventura Harbor, 450 E Harbor Blvd, Ventura. MAUREEN (Ventura)

VENTURA BOTANICAL GARDENS: The gardens are in bloom. We'll walk up to Grant Park, check out the blooms, head down to the pier and return to our cars. About 5 miles with 700 ft elevation gain. Meet at 9am at the Vons Parking Lot, 115 West Main Street in Ventura. MAUREEN (Ventura)
