John Patrick, local farmer and homeowner of the first LEED Platinum home in mid-TN, will talk about sustainable living through cohousing and agrihoods.  He is one of the founders of Burns Village and Farm, who are a group of individuals and families working together to develop a cohousing and agrihood development in Burns, TN. They are looking for others interested in living in a multi-generational, semi-rural neighborhood that values sustainability, diversity and preservation of a four-generation farm. Together they will design a cluster of 28-35 privately owned homes, which will include a shared clubhouse for community meals and other social activities, and also a farm with a professional farmer.
