Councilman Mendes will lead a discussion about ongoing and proposed development projects in the Metro area. Since September 2015, Bob has represented Nashville as a Councilmember-At-Large in Nashville's Metro Council. Bob has served on the Council's Budget & Finance Committee each year in office, including as chair in 2019-2020 when the city faced COVID, a tornado, and the State Comptroller rejecting the previous year's city budget. Bob is the chair of the East Bank Stadium Committee, and has served on these other committees: Affordable Housing (current, previous chair), Charter Revision (current, previous chair), Metro Audit, and Rules. In 2018-2019, he was chair of Metro’s Tax Increment Financing Study and Formulating Committee.
