June Meeting Program: What is a Planetary Habitable Zone?
Speaker: Brandon Reddell, Ph. D.  
 
This talk will discuss what a planetary habitable zone is, and provide some additional considerations on what is really needed for habitability on planets outside our solar system.
 
Brandon Reddell has a background in space physics and currently works at NASA in the program science office, and in the past in the area of space physics. He also occasionally teaches Astronomy and Physics at UHCL. He is married with one child and enjoys exercise and amateur astronomy.
 
Directions: Driving east on NASA Parkway, go past the stop light immediately beyond the Hilton at Space Center Blvd. At the next stop light, turn left away from the lake into the park. It's the building with the blue roof.
