Bay Area Sierra Club News

Bay Area Sierra Club monthly programs have been suspended for the duration of the COVID-19 emergency.  The programs planned for March 18 on Antarctica, and for April 15 featuring Houston environmental attorney Jim Blackburn, have been postponed to future dates when the Sierra Club can resume in-person meetings.

In place of a monthly program, Bay Area Sierrans have initiated a home Photography Project focused on Flowers and/or their Pollinators.

Please send us your favorite photos to:
BayAreaSierraClubHouston@gmail.com
We’ll put them on our new Facebook page as Phase I of our project to document local flowers and pollinators. If you know which insects, birds, or animals pollinate the flowers in your photos, please include that information also.
Be sure to thank Candy Anderson who has completed our new mailing list, our own e-mail account, and our new Facebook page.
