Recording of the August 11 meeting on 'Water and Data Centers in Texas':
The featured speaker was Dr. Erin Kinney from the Houston Advanced Research Center. As Texas faces ongoing water scarcity, proposals for AI data centers across the state are raising important questions. This webinar focused on the water footprint of AI data centers: what is known, what is not, and what it means for communities, ecosystems, and the future of our water.

Recording of the July 14 meeting on 'The Water-Energy Nexus with HARC':
The July meeting focused on the critical relationship between water and energy, known as the water-energy nexus. The speaker was Dr. Margaret Cook from the Houston Advanced Research Center, who helped us unpack the complex interplay between water and energy in our state: What does it take, energy-wise, to treat and deliver clean water to millions of Texans? How does drought stress both our water supply and the energy systems that depend on it?
