Recording of the October 6 meeting on 'Understanding Proposition 4 with Texas Water Experts':
The presentation provided an overview of Proposition 4, created through the passage of Texas House Joint Resolution 7 (HJR 7), and was on the ballot in the Nov. 4 general election. Proposition 4 will dedicate $1 billion each year for the next twenty years to the Texas Water Fund, which invests in water infrastructure and supply projects across the state. There were two guest speakers - Tom Entsminger from the National Wildlife Federation and Guadalupe Fernandez from Bayou City Waterkeeper. Both are partners within the Texas Living Waters coalition (that Sierra Club is part of as well).
