While we are still isolated from one another and unable to go on any in-person Sierra Club outings, we would like to invite you to join us for virtual outings via Zoom. The videos or other presentations are 10-25 minutes long, with another half-hour of discussion afterward. We plan to do two a month this spring. Join us on a virtual visit to one of the our favorite national parks with outdoor leader Veronica Bell – the Smokies. Together we will watch a short video and then share stories from this beautiful sprawling landscape.
Saturday May 22, 10 a.m. – Apostle Islands National Lakeshore
For our May 22 outing, we'll begin featuring some amazing volunteer adventures of GWG members. Outings leader David Thomas served 15 summers in the Apostle Islands, serving on five different islands, including at three of the lighthouses.
