During Each election cycle, the Sierra Club interviews candidates or gives them questionaires about their positions on environmental issues. From this information, combined with a politician's actual record on environmental issues, the Sierra Club makes endorsements to its members to help them with thier voting decisions. The Sierra Club Great Waters Group Political Chair leads this effort locally.
