Help get Milwaukee Climate and Equity Plan passed

Send emails, attend hearing to help get Milwaukee Climate and Equity Plan passed

Milwaukee’s Climate and Equity Plan includes recommendations to protect and restore nature in our city and create family-supporting green-tech jobs. And now it is scheduled to go before the Common Council for adoption.

You can play a key role in helping to move it forward – let Common Council members know that you want them to adopt the Climate and Equity Plan.

You can:

  • Mail or email letters of support to the Common Council by June 12. Send emails to the City Clerk with "Climate and Equity Plan" in the subject line: clee@milwaukee.gov.
  • Make public comments at the June 14 finance committee meeting. The meeting is at 9 a.m. in Milwaukee City Hall, 200 E. Wells St., Room 301-B. Learn more and let the Sierra Club know you're going here.
  • Join us June 20 for a silent show of support at the full  Common Council meeting at 9 a.m. at Milwaukee City Hall, 200 E. Wells St., in the Council Chambers.
