Exploring the Milwaukee River Greenway in Summer

Saturday, July 19, 9-11:30 a.m.
Meet at Estabrook Park Pavilion, 4600 Estabrook Parkway

We will hike over to the West Bank of the Milwaukee River, head down to the historic site of Humboldt, cross Capitol Drive and return through Estabrook Park. We will get an update on the new fish passage at Estabrook Falls. Catie Petralia of the Land Trust is helping organize this hike.

Exploring Riveredge and Lake Sturgeon Rehabilitation Program

Saturday, Aug 23, 1 - 3 p.m.
Riveredge Nature Center, 4458 Hawthorne Drive, Saukville

This outing, a collaboration with Riveredge Nature Center, will begin with an orientation, followed by a hike around the oak and prairie ecosystems. Afterward, we will have a close view of the Streamside Rearing Facility for young sturgeon that will be released into Lake Michigan in September.
