About Us

Since 1892, the Sierra Club has been working to protect communities, wild places, and the planet itself. We are the oldest, largest, and most influential grassroots environmental organization in the United States. And our founder, John Muir, appears on the back of the California quarter.

Sierra Club Calusa Group is one of seventeen local Sierra Club groups in Florida. We serve over 2,300 members in Collier, Glades, Hendry and Lee Counties in Southwest Florida. Our group offers members (and prospective members) the opportunity to explore, enjoy, and protect the environment by volunteering, attending events, becoming environmental activists and participating in outings. Explore our website and tell us what you think!
Sierra Club Calusa Group meets on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 6:00 pm at the Tice Fire Station 9351 Workmen Way, Fort Myers, FL 33905 in the Training Room. 239-218-1354
