Atlantic Sunrise Pipeline

If built, the nearly-200-mile Atlantic Sunrise Pipeline would tear through ten Pennsylvania counties, send fracked gas for export at the Cove Point facility in Maryland, and impact 2,000 acres of forested land and cross hundreds of wetlands and waterbodies -- many of which are designated high quality or exceptional value.

In Lancaster County alone, this pipeline would permanently create a 35-mile long, 100-ft corridor through the heart of our forests and farmlands and cut through more than fifty preserved farms and disrupting forty scenic waterways.

Not only will this pipeline worsen the impacts of fracking in the Marcellus, it has the potential to be much worse. The fracked gas slated for export at the Cove Point facility in Maryland could also worsen the overbuilding of fracked gas plants in the Southeast, especially in North Carolina and Florida.

There's so much at stake. Please take action and read on below to learn more about this issue.
