Get Involved

Meetings

Perhaps the easiest way to get involved with the Sierra Club is to attend one of our meetings. Our meetings are open to anyone who is interested, so come whether you are a member, thinking about joining the club, or just interested in seeing what we are about or in the topic/presentation of one of our meetings.

Our general meeting are held:
 Third Wednesday of Every Month
Time: 7:00 PM
Place: Azalea Room (Bldg 1)
Fort Worth Botanic Garden

Fort Worth, TX 76107

Directions to the Botanic Gardens

Events

Join us at periodic scheduled events, meetings, and festivals where we engage in the community, gather with purpose, or host special events for club members.  Visit our Events page to see opportunities to engage more broadly with other members.

Outings

Another great way to get involved is taking part in our outings program.  We lead several outings each year, which are open to both members and non-members. These outings range from a walk in the park, to a day hike, to a museum visit, to canoe trips, to trips to Big Bend and other places lasting several days. Visit our Outings page and pick one that interests you.

Issues

An excellent way to get involved is to work on issues, such as clean water, clean air, and clean energy.  Watch our Issues page where we highlight current, local topics for your attention and/or action.
