Outings planned for 2024!

Meridian State Park - Car Camp

MAY 10-12  2024

A car camping opportunity in nearby Meridian State Park. This small park is located about 60 minutes southwest of Fort Worth. It is each camper's responsibility to secure a camping reservation and pay for entry fees into the park. There is limited space at this park so make your camping reservations as soon as possible. There are rv, tent, and screen shelters for camping. We will camp Friday and Saturday night, hiking on Saturday and possibly Sunday morning. If lucky we might spot the endangered Golden-Cheecked Warbler. There is a small lake if you like to fish or paddle.

Please contact trip leader Carla Egyed at cegyed@sbcglobal.net if you wish to join.
