Engage FOJG members, friends and community members in FOJG activities and events based on their interests/desires/abilities, including contacts from:

• “Get Involved” list from FOJG webpage link
• “Contact Me” list from Monthly General Meeting attendance list
• New FOJG members list from the National Sierra club
• “Welcoming” attendees at General Meetings and following up with those who attended

Obtain speakers for monthly programs, including eNewsletter announcements, meeting introductions and honorariums (gifts) for speakers.
Provide refreshments when in-person meetings are held.
Certified Sierra Club Outings Leaders plan outings and promote these events in the eNewsletter and on social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter).
Organize Annual Events

• April-May: Big Yard Sale – Our primary fundraising event. This is a joint program with the University of Richmond which has been suspended the last two years due to the pandemic.
• Other Fundraising efforts 
• May: Spring Member’s Picnic which has been suspended the last two years due to the pandemic.
• December: Holiday Gala Dinner which has been suspended the last two years due to the pandemic.

Meeting Schedule: Last Thursdays of the month from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Meetings are held virtually currently.
