Joan McBride is an experienced political leader and an effective advocate for the environment. As Mayor of Kirkland she championed transit and transit-oriented development and will actively push for a balanced transportation bill that expands public transportation. She is fully supportive of Gov. Inslee’s climate agenda and was one of several Eastside mayors to endorse the CLEW. The Club is proud to endorse Joan and look forward to working with her in the next legislative session.
