Alpine Lakes Wilderness Protections Bill Passed!

The Washington State Chapter of the Sierra Club applauds the resolve and persistence of Senator Murray and Representatives Reichert and DelBene.

 The U.S. Senate passed the bill to protect vital additions to the Alpine Lakes Wilderness while also adding three new spectacular rivers to the our state’s Wild and Scenic River system. The House passed the package earlier last week.
