Chapman Mountain hike with North Alabama Sierra Club

Meet us at the trailhead kiosk with the map! We will hike about 3.5 miles, with only about 300 miles of elevation gain, making this a moderately easy hike.

Monte Sano Preserve Hike with North Alabama Sierra Club
Sat, Jan 18, 2025; 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
We will hike the upper most part of the Land Trust property going up Toll Gate and the length of High Trail before returning on Bluff Line Trail. Moderate and about 4 miles in length. Wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather. Hiking poles and snacks if needed and plenty of water.

Additional Directions: Meet at the Land Trust parking lot on Bankhead Parkway.

Waterfall Hike at Bethel Spring Preserve with the North Alabama Sierra Club

Meet us at the trailhead kiosk where the map is posted! We will hike a 1.5 mile loop taking us up and down Keel Mountain to a lovely waterfall (water flow is not guaranteed!). We will go up and down 400 feet in a short distance, and there are slippery rocks at the top, making this a moderately difficult hike.
