- During Border Wall contruction Cerro " El Fresnal" got dynamited and then the construction was abandoned, now construction crews are back for more.
- This area is very beautiful and now there is a giant scar that will probably be permanent.
- The new road to get there got in really bad shape after the first year of monsoon season,
- this waste of resources will continue every year after monsoons as the landscape has a lot of steep hills
- and the sides of the road have been covered with berms that don't allow the water to move away from the roads.
