Class VI Deep Injection Well U.S. EPA Permit Draft Now Listed for June 30th.

Marquis Energy LLC, located just north of Hennepin, Putnam County, will have to wait a little longer for the federal EPA to post public notice for its pending permit application. The company is planning an on-site Class VI deep injection well for carbon dioxide sequestration. Having the injection well on-site has avoided the huge controversy that rose over other company plans for extensive high pressure carbon dioxide pipelines to far-flung sequestration locations.
