Do you like a nice neighborhood walk to enjoy your morning or afternoon? Turn that into some volunteer time for helping inform people about great candidates with door-to-door flyers and talking to those who are home. Training is provided! HOI Chair Robert Rowe and other Sierra volunteers are helping by walking for our endorsed candidates for the U.S. House of Representatives and others. If phone calls are a better option for you, inquire about phone banking plans for candidates you can help. Check out the Peoria Democrats’ office in the Campustown shopping center, 1200 W Main St #29, Peoria. It is located facing University Street, across from Bradley University, next to the ATM and just a few doors from what was the Field House Bar & Grill. For more information call the office at 309-676-0380. Early voting begins on Thursday, September 24th and ends on Monday, November 2rd. Election day is November 3rd.
