By Joyce Blumenshine
Wondering what it is like to do environmental tabling? Join with experienced HOI volunteers June 4th for National Trails Day tabling at Starved Rock State Park. This event is from 9 a.m. to noon at the Starved Rock Visitors Center. We will have information about the Rock Island Trail, climate change, and a fun kids’ activity, plus time to do some hiking at the park.
Yes, the HOI group area includes Starved Rock State Park, the most heavily used park in the state with over two million visitors a year. For more information phone Joyce at 309-678-1011.
