Sierra Club Maine is committed to furthering equity, inclusion, and justice across our work as a chapter. In 2019, we collaborated with other organizations to create Maine Climate Action Now!, a coalition which centers youth and marginalized frontline communities in the fight for climate justice. Sierra Club Maine recognizes the past injustices and harm perpetrated by our chapter and our national affiliates. We are continuing internal work to ensure that we are held accountable for past actions, and to mitigate future harm.
