Dear Supporter,
Happy Holidays! A Few Holiday Highlights from Your Napa Sierra Club Group As the holidays approach, we’d love to share a few things we think you’ll enjoy—and that also support our work here in Napa County. (Photo, Left to Right: Executive committee members Paulina Zambrano, Nick Cheranich, and Rich Richardson with student intern Gemma Roberts conduct a raffle drawing for a free T-shirt at our recent Meet and Greet event.)
A meaningful gift idea: We now have Sierra Club T-shirts featuring our Napa Group logo. They’re $30–35, and about half of that supports our internship program and our local environmental efforts. They make a thoughtful gift for yourself or someone you care about—and they help fund real action. See the order form below.
A new PSA featuring our student interns: We recently partnered with a professional videographer to create a short Public Service Announcement at Wetlands Edge Park in American Canyon. Our student interns are the on-camera talent, helping convey why protecting our wetlands matters, especially as impacts from climate change, such as sea level rise, increase. We hope you’ll take a moment to watch it and share it with others. Intern-led podcasts: Gemma Roberts (Napa High, left) and Claire Mulligan (Vintage High, right) have released another podcast episode, with a new one coming soon. Their conversations offer a fresh look at the environmental issues young people see in our community. See below for their story.
Ways to take action this season: If you haven’t explored our “Take Action Now” list yet, we’d love for you to take a look. It highlights a few local issues where your voice can truly make a difference.
In case you missed it: Here’s the link to our previous newsletter.
Thank you for being part of this community. Wishing you a peaceful and environmentally rewarding holiday season.
Sincerely, The Napa Sierra Club Group Executive Committee
