Saturday shutdown shoreline cleanup at Don Edwards Nat'l Wildlife Refuge

With the partial government shutdown now in its third week, the Trump administration has left our public lands without protection and trash is piling up at our federal parks. Come join us at the Don Edwards SF Bay National Wildlife Refuge this Saturday, January 12th from 9 AM to 12 PM to pick up trash before it ends up in the bay or in the bellies of fish and wildlife.

We'll meet at the first parking lot located on the right hand side of Marshlands Road just before the Visitor Center. Look for a white pickup truck. We will hike the Tidelands Traiil (1 - 1.4 miles) and continue towards the fishing pier.

Bring gloves, shoes that can get muddy, warm clothing and water. Be prepared to walk and retrieve trash.

If you can join us, please RSVP via our Meetup page, or email event leader William Yragui at wyragui@missionpeakconservancy.net.
