Earth Day 2019 celebrations in the Bay Area

As we do every year, the Sierra Club SF Bay Chapter will be participating in Earth Month celebrations all throughout the Bay Area this April. Join us at the following festivals, tree-plantings, film festivals, and other gatherings to celebrate and protect Mother Earth.

Plant a Tree with the Sierra Club

Sunday, April 14, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
1045 Derby Ave., Oakland

Looking for a small but impactful way to help in the fight against climate change? Volunteer to plant trees with the Sierra Club in sidewalks all around Oakland. As these trees grow, they help to improve air quality, sequester carbon, and improve the environmental conditions of our neighborhoods. No experience is required, but volunteers should be ready to do some digging and get a bit dirty.

There will also be tree-planting events on May 12 and June 9.
