Vote Yes on A and No on B in Alameda's April 9 special election — for homeless housing and services

The Sierra Club urges all Alamedans to vote Yes on A and No on B in the April 9th special election. We strongly support the proposed Alameda Wellness Center that will move forward if Measure A passes with more votes than Measure B. The project is an efficient use of existing buildings for a purpose we should all get behind: housing and services for vulnerable homeless seniors. Measure B would not create or fund any new park space. Environmental voters need to unite behind the We Care Alameda campaign: Yes on A and No on B.
