East Bay Regional Park District Survey Will Guide Future Investments — Add Your Opinions!

By Norman La Force

The East Bay Regional Park District is conducting a survey about park and trail use, with questions about feeling welcome, barriers to visiting, and new programs and events that communities would like to see. Responses will guide future decisions and investments by the Park District, so it’s important that they hear back from Sierra Club members. We are concerned that the Park District is considering opening up more narrow hiking trails to mountain bikes, so we especially want District administrators to hear from people who value the District’s conservation mission and safe access to trails.

Click here to go to the survey. It takes only about 8 to 10 minutes to complete and the deadline is this Monday, May 31st.
