Room changed to Garden Room

The monthly meeting of the Los Serranos Group of the Sierra Club is Tuesday, June 21, at 7:00 PM.  Join us for a photography slideshow of parts of Arizona, Utah, Alaska, Hawaii, and Europe.  Meeting is held upstairs in the First Presbyterian Church Education building, 869 N. Euclid Ave, Upland, in the Garden Room.   New members and the public are welcome.  Arrive a little early so someone can direct you from the parking lot to the Garden Room.  Click on Los Serranos Meeting 6/21 above for more info.

Gary Mumaw was introduced to photography when he took a high school photo class in 1970. His first camera was a Kodak Brownie. After some success in outdoor photography, Gary enrolled at Brooks Institute School of Photography, Santa Barbara, CA. where he received a Bachelor of Art Degree in 1977.
After graduating from Brooks, Gary started his photo career at JPL/NASA as a lab tech working on the Voyager Mission to Jupiter. He became an Industrial photographer in 1979.  He worked in the field for over 30 years, for Defense Contractors like Xerox, Loral, Lockheed Martin and BAE Systems.
In 2007, on a hike to "The Wave" in North Coyote Buttes, Arizona, Gary regained his interest in outdoor photography and is now known as the "Master of Images."

In tonight’s program Gary will show Landscape and Cityscape photography from his hiking trips and places he has traveled to, including Arizona, Southern Utah, Alaska, Hawaii, several National Parks and Europe. He will also talk about High Dramatic Range (HDR), digital enhancements, composition and other methods to improve your photos.
