Sea Level Rise and Adaptation

Sea level rise predictions point towards a major threat to the San Francisco Bay–our home and a vital ecosystem that provides habitats to diverse wildlife. The loss of shorelines, marshlands, wetlands, and other habitats would wreak havoc on biodiversity, landscapes, and communities. To avert the worst impacts and protect the many natural resiliency benefits the bay provides, we must rely on natural and nature-based solutions which have the most to offer. At the end of the day, the bay provides so much for humans and non-humans alike.

We all depend on a living Bay.
