Loop the Lake Earth Day Hike 2019

Thank you to the 700 hikers and volunteers who joined us on April 20, 2019 for an Earth Day Hike along the Loop the Lake Trail. Three Cities - One Community: Neenah, Menasha and Fox Crossing.

  • Celebrate Earth Day with this Loop the Lake Earth Day Hike hosted by the Fox Valley Sierra Group.
  • Walk all or some of the stroller-friendly 3.5 mile Loop the Lake trail.
  • Activities & Refreshments at Fritze Park.
  • Start anytime between 9:00am - 10:30am.
  • Starts at Arrowhead Park.  Pre-registration preferred.

Celebrate Earth Day on April 20 (rain date is April 27) by participating in a fun event for the community.

Activities begin and end at the Arrowhead Park. Parking and restrooms are available at the park. Please register and pickup a map before you begin hiking.

Hikers can begin walking anytime between 9:00am and 10:30am.  This hike is designed to be enjoyed in small groups, on your own. The trail is marked and our map is easy to follow.

Put this on your calendar and plan to be there. We believe you will enjoy the experience.

This event gives people the opportunity to participate in a fun organized Earth Day event. Experience nature and our Fox River in a unique hike to celebrate Earth Day.

The event is free, no charge, without cost.

REGISTRATION:

You must sign the Sierra Club liability waiver form. You can print and bring completed forms with you Saturday.  Or plan to do it at the registration area.  Save time and bring the paperwork with you to the registration tables.  Use the first page if registering only yourself, or use both pages if registering groups or families.  Read more about the Sierra Club liabity waiver here.

You can print your own hike brochure or pick one up at when you register Saturday morning.

COURTESY NOTES:

This event is intended for hikers and walkers.  We are not setup for runners, skaters and bicyclists.

We discourage dogs.  Many people are afraid of close encounters with dogs.  Some areas will be crowded and inappropriate for dogs.  Please refrain from bringing dogs on the hike.
