Sierra Club's 13 Local Chapters in California
Sierra Club was founded in California and today has its headquarters in Oakland, CA. It also has 13 local chapters located around the state. Each of the 13 chapters has its own, volunteer-led governing board and committee structure. Sierra Club California, which is the legislative advocacy arm of the Club on California state policy, also has its own volunteer-led governing board.
