The New Jersey Chapter Mission Statement:

To explore, enjoy, and protect the wild places of the earth;
To practice and promote the responsible use of the earth's ecosystems and resources;
To educate and enlist humanity to protect and restore the quality of the natural and human environments.

Engage in our Work to Improve our Natural Environment:

The NJ Chapter understands the importance of urban issues such as protecting the public’s drinking water and air quality, the creation and preservation of sustainable green open space, maintaining good mass transit and creating safe bicycle lanes, providing access to the waterfront, and addressing environmental justice issues, and is currently establishing a group of local grassroots volunteers in Hudson County.

Please write to us at hudsonsierraclub@gmail.com and let us know what aspect of the environment in our County interests you the most.
