The Broward Sierra Group invites you to join us for a special evening of celebration, community, and environmental advocacy at our 2026 Gala Celebration. The event will be held at the Jacaranda Country Club on Friday, October 2, from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m.
This year’s Gala features the presentation of Environmental Legacy Awards to Broward County Mayor Beam Furr and former Broward Sierra Group Executive Committee Chair Leah Weisburd. Mayor Furr will be recognized for his achievements and longstanding efforts to protect the environment, and Leah Weisburd will be honored for her many years of environmental leadership, service, and advocacy. The evening will also celebrate our collective progress and dedicated volunteers.

Guests will enjoy complimentary cocktails from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., an elegant buffet dinner, and dessert and coffee service. The evening also features plenty of music and dancing with DJ Hollywood, a Broward Sierra fundraising raffle, pledge opportunities, and guest giveaways.
So please join Broward Sierra Group members, volunteers, community leaders, and changemakers for an evening honoring our shared work toward environmental protection and sustainability across Broward County.
