The Toxics Team has volunteers with varied backgrounds who work together to address toxics issues.  We work as a team and also contribute to our chapters.

We have experience as:  analytic chemists and lab directors; environmental scientists;  regulators; entomologists; information science and data management; advocacy; Sierra Club policies and practices; marine sciences; occupational health and chemicals management; community organizing; public policy; environmental justice. 

The team has a core group that manages the business of the team, also known as the core team, with about 12 members and affiliates.  

The team has a number of participants with many backgrounds.  Participants may subscribe to and then contribute to the three discussion listserves of the team.  Announcements about events or opportunities are also distributed to the discussion group lists and often posted on the web site.
