Ski Touring Section Details

Officers

The Chair of the STS schedules meetings, arranges programs, and appoints the members of the various committees.

The Vice-Chair/Scheduler maintains the list of leaders and the schedule of trips.

The Treasurer handles finances and manages the list of STS members.

The Secretary/Editor is produces the newsletter, which contains announcements of upcoming trips and is distributed about a week before each monthly meeting.

Committees

The Conservation Committee researches and acts on land use issues of importance to cross-country skiers.

The Outings Committee oversees the outings program and qualifies outing leaders.
