SEMG Executive Committee Nominations Open

Nominations for the Southeast Michigan Group (SEMG) of the Sierra Club election for open Executive Committee positions for 2027–2028 terms will be accepted through August 13, 2026. If you have a suggestion for a nomination, please email the Nominations Committee at sierra.club.semg@gmail.com.

All current SEMG members also have an opportunity to be added to the ballot by petition. In accordance with our bylaws, a member wishing to become a candidate may submit a petition containing the names of at least 15 supportive SEMG members within two weeks of the notice of the Nominating Committee’s candidates. Please email sierra.club.semg@gmail.com to submit a nomination, petition or candidacy.

SEMG is the all-volunteer local voice of the Sierra Club in Wayne, Macomb and St. Clair counties, as well as most of Oakland County. Executive Committee members help lead efforts by SEMG’s more than 12,000 members and supporters to protect our environment and communities.

In your email, please include your full name, address, phone number and eight-digit Sierra Club membership number, if you know it. We will be in touch and send you a link to the ballot. You must be a member in good standing of the Southeast Michigan Group (SEMG).
