Our group serves Metro Detroit and includes the counties of Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, and St. Clair. Powered by dedicated volunteers, we host educational programs, outings, conservation initiatives, and community meetings focused on pressing environmental issues that impact well-being and family health. Sierra Club activities are open to all—you don’t need to be a member! Whether you’re passionate about the environment or curious to explore nature, we invite you to participate in our activities and attend our meetings. Consider making a donation directly to the Southeast Michigan Group of Sierra Club to support our local conservation, environmental advocacy, and community engagement across our region. Contributions help us organize educational programs, lead hikes and outdoor outings, advocate for a better environment, and empower residents to take meaningful action on climate, land preservation, pollution and sustainability issues.

Every dollar stays local and strengthens grassroots efforts to protect the places we love — from neighborhood green spaces to critical natural areas throughout Southeast Michigan. When you become a member of Sierra Club only a small portion of that membership makes to our local group/ So, if you want to support our efforts in Southeastern Michigan, please make a direct donation through our Givebutter.
