🎉✨ Happy Holidays, everyone!

As we embrace the spirit of joy and togetherness, let's take this opportunity to reset and recharge for the challenges and opportunities that await us in 2025! This is the perfect time to reflect on our achievements, learn from our experiences, and set our sights on strategic goals. Let's celebrate this festive season with hope and determination, ready to tackle climate and environmental justice challenges in the new year! Together, we will reimagine our impact in South Carolina! 🌟🥳

Reflecting on our impactful year, I remember the many accomplishments we've achieved together. Here are just a few:

- Fighting in court against Duke Energy regarding their high-risk renewal application at Oconee Nuclear.
- Endorsing candidates in five municipal and state legislative races across the Palmetto.
- Distributing Flood Resilience kits to citizens of Marion County in partnership with New Alpha CDC and Thriving Earth Exchange.
- Sending an Action Alert to members about the dangers of plastic nurdles.

But our journey is far from over. As we look towards 2025, we invite you to deepen your commitment and help us grow to reimagine our impact in the Palmetto State. We are working towards building a stronger and more resilient organization, and we need your help to achieve a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable future for those who come after us.

The following Executive Committee positions are vacant:

- Conservation Chair
- Secretary
- Outings Chair
- Treasurer

With over 5,000 members across the Palmetto, our members are actively working on regional climate and conservation issues that affect the communities that need help the most, especially those burdened by the climate crisis.

So, I encourage you to take the time to rest and recharge as we prepare to fight for a better future in 2025.

From my family to yours, Happy Holidays and best wishes for a Greener New Year!🎉✨ Happy Holidays, everyone!
